About this event

Mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, and symptoms of grief and trauma. We will learn ways to cultivate our own mindfulness practice as we hike in the rugged beauty of the foothills.

Simple and accessible mindfulness practices will be demonstrated, such as engaging the senses, guided meditation, and deep breathing.

Changes, losses, grief, and coping associated with present pandemic and election-time isolation, stress, and trauma may be also given attention.
